Souqi set out to build a trusted, fast marketplace for buying and selling products. The challenge: create a platform that feels reliable, loads instantly and stays clean, even at scale.
The challenge
The platform had to be built for growth from day one. Thousands of listings, accounts and transactions, all while keeping the experience simple and organized for both buyers and sellers.
Our approach
We prioritized speed, clarity and trust. Next.js with TypeScript gave us the performance foundation. A modular design system kept the UI consistent as the product grew. The result: an interface that loads fast, navigates intuitively and never feels cluttered.
The name Souqi references the traditional souq, the marketplace where people meet, trade and build relationships. It represents movement, energy and human connection.
The logo is a stylized entrance to a traditional souq, inspired by the iconic Moroccan arch. It symbolizes access, discovery and the invitation to step into a trusted space.
It bridges the digital product with the physical souqs that have been at the heart of trade and community for generations.

Fast search, faceted filters and dynamic product pages with SSR for performance. Deployed on Vercel with a Firebase backend.
Answers user questions instantly and helps with navigation. Automatic escalation for complex queries.
Messaging
Real-time chat between buyers and sellers, user profiles and a seller dashboard with listings, bids and conversations.
Payments
Boost packages for promoted listings. CMI integration for reliable, locally accepted payments in Morocco.
